It’s still Friday, right? I must be more of a procrastinator than I realized, that or I can blame it on the new mom thing. We are now seven weeks into parenthood and aren’t stumbling around like zombies quite as much. Quinn has slept a little longer (5 hours in a row) a couple of times now and we have started figuring out what she wants each time she gets fussy. We are also experiencing a new milestone with her: she is starting to smile for real now! Her favorite place to be is the changing table, it’s where she does most of her cooing and grinning. It’s pretty fantastic. If she has any memory of her time as a baby, the poor girl is going to picture me and Josh hovering over her with goofy grins on our faces. I guess she’ll figure out soon enough that her parents are weird.

Favorite Kitchen Tools: 50 Cool Kitchen Gadgets. I know Alton Brown frowns upon unitaskers in the kitchen, but I don’t care! Some of these gadgets are too good to pass up on.
