Hey all! How was your week? Are you in full summer mode? ☀ 🕶 🍹
To kick off summer and celebrate my sister’s upcoming wedding, we had a slumber party with my sisters and nieces last weekend. It was so much fun! I love living near them all again, so things like this can happen! Heart = Happy.
Pizza! Cupcakes! Face masks! Movie! Popcorn! Giggles! It was such a fun night.
We didn’t want the weekend to end (do we ever?), but it did 🤷🏻♀️ That’s alright though, we had a nice week. I think we’re finally slipping into a new routine. It only took us a month to find a good rhythm 🙄 Breakfast, art, reading, quiet time, playing outside, lunch, errands, and so on. Having a good routine keeps the whole family happy. That, and getting our butts out the door. Getting two kids ready and out of the house is a challenge, but so necessary. We don’t do well cooped up!
Now, onto the weekend and celebrating the wonderful dads I know. How fortunate I am to have my dad, my husband, and my father-in-law. What wonderful, hardworking, funny, supportive, and loving guys they each are ❤ Happy Father’s Day!

Favorite Salad: Tossed Taco Salad with Rainbow Veggies. Weeeoooweeeooo <<< That’s the sound of a flavor alarm. This is not a boring salad.
Favorite Table: Farmhouse X Office Desk. I bet my husband would love to make this for me 😁 (That was a really subtle hint, right?)
Favorite Cake: The Best Ever Eggless Chocolate Cake. I could really go for a hunk of this cake right about now.
Favorite Spa at Home: DIY Muscle Relief Bath Bombs. Oh yes, a nice, relaxing bath with one of these bath bombs is just what I need to end the week.
Favorite Everything: NYC Everything Bagel Stromboli. Stromboli me, please!
Favorite Collection: Sesame Street Collection at Crate for Kids. This is one seriously cute collection. I want it all! (A lot of it is out of stock until July, so I have time to make a decision.)
Favorite Magical Dessert: Easy Banana & Coconut Unicorn Dessert. These have Quinn’s name written all over them.
Favorite Father’s Day Craft Idea: These Father’s Day Crafts for Kids. Gosh, homemade gifts are just the sweetest. Nothing says love quite like a glob of glue with a pile of glitter (Quinn) and a smeared handprint from a tiny, chubby hand (Wyatt).
Favorite Meal: Enchiladas Verdes. More like enchi-love-as. Nope. That didn’t really work, but you get what I mean.
Favorite Fun: Edible Silly Putty. I loved silly putty when I was a kid. And it’s good to know that if one of my kids sneaks a little of it into their mouths (ahem, Wyatt, I’m looking at you, buddy 😏), they won’t get sick.
Favorite Breakfast: Mini Baked Chocolate Donuts. Cue the drool.
Favorite Funny: This is just the truth. Like, it looks like a crash of rhinos destroyed my house. Rhinos who really love Play-Doh and cookies.
