Happy Friday! Can you believe that this is the last Friday before Thanksgiving? I can’t. I seriously can’t believe it. My mind is still in summertime mode. However, I am super excited for the holiday season. So I guess it’s ok that summer is long gone. At this time next week, I’ll be decorating the Christmas tree. Yippee!!

Oh no, this could get out of control.

There. Last one. Because there’s a pie emoji now!!
Moving on…
We had a good week, busy and fun. Quinn is now taking four classes each week, which she really seems to love. And while she’s in class, Wyatt and I get a little bit of one-on-one time. ☺️
Our week was also filled with laughter.
Never a dull moment with my little turkeys.
Now let me tell you about the crazy thing that happened this week…
Quinn and Wyatt both took naps.
At the same time.
The only problem was, they decided to take their naps on me. #momlife 🤷🏻♀️
Our weekend should be pretty quiet, the main order of business is buying a turkey! Important stuff, guys. I hope you have a great weekend! Do you have any fun plans? Whatever you’re up to, have a lovely time. Now it’s time for Friday Favorites!

Favorite Pumpkin: Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars. Yesh. 🤤
Favorite Recycling Project: Turkey Windsocks. Surely you’ll be using a can or two this Thanksgiving. Go ahead and upcycle those cans by making these adorable turkeys!
Favorite Side: Corn Spoon Bread. I always make scalloped corn for Thanksgiving, but perhaps I’ll switch things up slightly this year. This recipe can be made in the slow cooker, which would free up some much needed real estate in the oven!
Favorite Garland: Thanksgiving Pie Garland. Forget turkey, I’m here for the pie. (Isn’t this garland the cutest?)
Favorite Apple: Almond and Apple Crostata. Ohhhh, I like the looks of this!
Favorite Gift: Coffee Gift Basket. I know this is a Christmas gift idea, but I think it would also be a fabulous gift to bring for the host of Thanksgiving dinner!
Favorite Turkey: Roasted Marinated Turkey Breast. Since it’s just our little family of four celebrating at home this year (and Wyatt’s on a straight milk diet 👶🏻🍼), we are thinking about just making a turkey breast. Should we smoke it or make this flavorful marinated breast?
Favorite Table Setting: Setting a Thanksgiving Table the Kids Will Love. I want to do something special for Quinn at the dinner table this year to occupy her time while we’re busy at the kitchen. I think she’d love to color on her own place setting! And I know she’ll love the M&M’s.
Favorite Breakfast: Healthy Baked Pumpkin Donut Holes. I can picture myself popping these into my mouth while running around the kitchen on Thanksgiving morning. (Along with drinking copious amounts of coffee, of course.)
Favorite Art: Spin Art Turkey. Another project for Quinn!
Favorite Soup: Turkey Corn Chowder. A great way to use up leftover turkey!
Favorite Countdown: Days Until Christmas! Get ready 🤗
