Halloween is tomorrow, are you ready? We’re loaded up on candy and the costumes are laid out and ready to hop into tomorrow.
To get in the Halloween spirit we made these Monster Rice Krispies Treats. They’re more cute than scary, just the way we like it around here. We had so much fun making them that we’ve actually made ‘em twice in the last week! Ok, the first batch turned out a little dry (I followed the recipe on the cereal box), so we decided to give them another go over the weekend with our company here. Success! - 1 batch of Rice Krispies Treats (mine used 12 oz. box Rice Krispies, 16 oz. mini marshmallows, and 1/2 cup unsalted butter)
- White melting chocolate (about 20 oz.)
- Food coloring
- Sprinkles
- Googly Eyes
- Prepare Rice Krispies Treats. Cut into various shapes.
- Melt white chocolate according to package directions. Make desired colors with food coloring.
- Dip the cut treats into melted chocolate and decorate with googly eyes and sprinkles. Enjoy!

Prepare Rice Krispies Treats according to your favorite recipe. Allow the treats to cool before cutting.

Cut into desired shapes.
