The ultimate chocolate cookie, soft and studded with peanut buttery Reese’s Pieces. Perfect for Halloween!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package chocolate pudding (3.4 oz.)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups AP flour
- 2/3 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups Reese’s Pieces
- 1 cup chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet, but dark chocolate or milk chocolate would work great)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with nonstick baking mats or parchment paper and set aside.
- Cream together the butter, sugars, and pudding mix for 2-3 minutes with the paddle attachment of a mixer.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla. Mix until incorporated.
- Now mix in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and 1 cup of Reese’s Pieces.
- Scoop out cookie dough using a 1” cookie scooper onto your prepared baking pans. Press the remaining 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces into the tops of the cookies. This makes them look pretty 🙂
- Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on pan for a few minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire cooling rack. Enjoy!
