Hey all and happy Friday! How was your week? Mine was full of deep breaths. With less than a month to go until baby arrives, our basement still isn’t finished (we’re currently in the middle of a carpet fiasco) and my hail-damaged Jeep is going to take 2-3 more weeks to fix. Oy. Breathe in, breathe out, don’t go into labor.
While the basement and vehicle situations are out of my hands, I’ve been working on everything else on my to-do list so I can feel a little more prepared for the baby. Our freezer is filling up with meals, clothes and blankets are washed, my hospital bag is being packed, and the bassinet and rest of the baby gear will be set up this weekend.
Tomorrow we’ll start the weekend off right with a trip to the Farmer’s Market (my happy place) and a tour of the hospital. Then we’ll enjoy some time outside running through the sprinkler, splashing in the pool, and eating all of the ice cream. I hope you all have a great weekend. Favorite Footwear: Drizzle Grey Washed Canvas Espadrilles. I’ve worn through two pairs of TOMS recently, so it’s time to order some new ones! I think these will go with just about everything in my mom wardrobe 😉
Favorite Grilled Good: Grilled Fajita Chicken Kabobs with Vegetables. Bursting with flavor! I can’t wait to make these.
Favorite Kitchen Look: This pantry door. We had our contractor cover the electrical panel in the kitchen with a chalkboard, now I need to decide what to put on it. Something fun like this? Or a grocery list? Or just let Quinn scribble all over it? Decisions, decisions.
Favorite Drink: Moccachino Smoothie. Only one more month until I can drink coffee again!!! Give me all of the Moccahino Smoothies.
Favorite Gift Packaging: DIY Pom Pom & Tassel Gift Wrap. Super cute, right?
Favorite Sweet: French Silk Slab Pie. My slab pie obsession continues.
Favorite Accessory Organizer: DIY Block Necklace Display. I love this simple display.
Favorite Summertime Side: Easy Bacon Avocado Summer Pasta Salad. You can never go wrong with avocado and bacon. Never.
Favorite Game: The Not-So Newlywed Game. Fun for a little date night at home ♥
