Friday Favorites

Hey all and happy Friday! Did you have a nice week?

We ended last weekend with a lovely Mother’s Day. The reality of a new baby coming is really sinking in and I’m looking forward to another little one to love. And I’m excited to see how Quinn adjusts to having a, as she calls him, “baby brover.” She walks up to my belly about 20 times a day to say hello to him or exclaim “he’s so cute!” 🤗

Josh was in New York all week, but is thankfully returning today. Quinn and I had a good time together, but are both ready to have him back!

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get the weekend started. So, let’s do it! Time for Friday Favorites.

Favorite Crisp: Rhubarb Crisp. Fingers crossed that our rhubarb survived the snow so I can make this.🤞🏻

 

Favorite Entryway: DIY Rustic Entryway Coat Rack. Love it! (FYI, I’m nesting like mad these days so bear with me and all these home DIY projects.)

 

Favorite Crust: New York Style Pizza Dough. I’ve been cheating and buying pizza dough from Sprouts for our weekly pizza night, but I’m itching to make some homemade pizza dough again. This looks like a great recipe!

 

Favorite Toddler Art Project: Sparkly Paper Plate Dinosaur. I know a certain little girl who will think this project is rawring awesome.

 

Favorite Salad: How to Build a Power Salad. I need all the energy I can get these days, so give me all the power salads ⚡️

 

Favorite Flowers: How to Arrange Flowers Like a Pro. New rule: We must have flowers in our house at all times this spring and summer. IT IS DECIDED!

 

Favorite Breakfast: Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal Squares. Oatmeal squares are baby bump approved!

 

Favorite Bathroom Mirror: Round Wood Mirror DIY. Will our basement remodel be done next week?? Who knows. But I do know that I’m starting to rethink the kind of mirror we want in the bathroom. This one is gorgeous!

 

Favorite Cake: Strawberry Momofuku Cake. Oh yes. All of the yes.

 

Favorite Outdoor Pretty: DIY Pallet Wood Hose Holder with Planter. My nesting craze has moved outside the house with this project. I just want everything to be pretty for the baby…because he’ll care, right? 🙄

 

Favorite Sandwich: Korean Steak Sandwich with Jalapenos and Garlic Mayo. Now this is one good looking sandwich.
