Friday Favorites

Hey all! Another week is in the books. And guess what? Tomorrow is April. I fool you not.

So how was your week? We had a pretty nice week over here. After having company last weekend and with Josh working a smidge less, I’ve had a chance to catch my breath so I can deal with the day-to-day adventures in raising a toddler.

Josh & I even had a chance to go on a date last Saturday, we opted for a movie and late dinner. We went to Logan and it did not disappoint. It was filled with action, but had an emotional story to go along with it (who knew Wolverine would make me tear up?). It was so nice to get out of the house, just the two of us, it had been far too long! The last time I went to a movie in the theater was when I was pregnant with Quinn (we saw Thor, we apparently have a thing for superhero movies).

Now let’s start a busy weekend. We are starting a 3-week basement remodel on Monday, so wish us luck as we move everything out of our basement. Yikes. Construction zone, here we come!
