Greetings to you all on this fine Friday. Can you believe we’re already halfway through September? Zoinks!
I must tell you about last weekend, because we had a great time at PBS Fun Fest! It’s a free block party for kids, hosted by Rocky Mountain PBS, and Quinn couldn’t believe that she got to meet some of her favorite TV characters in person. Sadly, I didn’t get my phone out in time to capture Quinn giving Princess Presto a high-five or waving at Curious George and Daniel Tiger. But it was adorable. Trust me. We also did the Hokey Pokey and ate ice cream before 11am, so it was pretty much Quinn’s dream come true. (Fun fact: Quinn thinks that saying “Hokey Pokey” is hysterical.)
The rest of our week was an adventure. Potty training, folks. After months of gentle nudging, we decided to hit the training a little harder this week. I wouldn’t say it was a disaster, but we still have a long way to go. I’m convinced she’ll be trained by the time she goes to college.
Let’s get this weekend started! Bring on the farmer’s market, football, and fall. I’m ready. Time for Friday Favorites!

Favorite Travel Gear: Travel Beds for Toddlers and Kids. I suppose we are close to needing something more suitable for a big kid instead of the Pack ‘n Play; this list is sure to come in handy!
Favorite Appetizer: Baked Figs with Goat Cheese. YES, PLEASE! (Sorry for yelling, but appetizers excite me.)
Favorite Easy Update: Dining Room Light Fixture Update. A great way to refresh our dining room.
Favorite Drink: Pumpkin Cafe de Olla. I think I’m in love.
Favorite PSL Accessory: This sleeve. To all the Pumpkin Spice Latte lovers out there, you need this in your life.
Favorite Breakfast: Cinnamon Swirl Donut Bread. That cinnamon-sugar topping looks magical.
Favorite Fashion: This ensemble. So cute.
Favorite Pasta: Cheesy Bowtie Pasta & Italian Sausage Bake. Making!
Favorite Tip: This wall hanging. Can we all agree to do this? That would be great.
