Happy day to you! Did you all have a nice week?

It was my birthday on Wednesday and I celebrated by taking some pictures of Quinn…

Capturing this cutie seriously made my day. I also ate copious amounts of ice cream.

But the good stuff didn’t stop there, Josh grilled up some delightful pizzas and we ate al fresco.

Getting old isn’t so bad, I guess 🙂

Now, on to the excitement of the weekend. Let’s see, I have pie order to deliver tomorrow. Eeek! I’ve been itching to tell you all that I’m slowly moving from the world of accounting to the world of baking and I could not be more excited about it! (<<<<you have no idea what kind of restraint it took me to use only one exclamation point there.)

Favorite Breakfast: Lemon Greek Yogurt Pancakes. Light, fluffy, and scrumptious.

Favorite Home Spa Treatment: Soothing Cucumber Eye Gel. The bags under my eyes tell me I should give this gel a try.

Favorite Cake: Mirror Glaze Chocolate Zucchini Cake. Look at that cake! I’ve been trying to figure out to do with the ginormous zucchini we have and this might be the winner.

Favorite Weed Revenge: Vinegar. Ok, so I have an embarrassing story to tell you. I was pulling weeds in our backyard on Monday and things got out of control. Picture me flipping through the air and landing on rocks, that kind of out of control. (Oh, you didn’t know? I’m super graceful.) I did a number on my legs and briefly thought I broke my foot (don’t worry, it feels much better now). As if I needed another reason to hate pulling weeds. Anyway, I found myself scouring the internet for my revenge on weeds and found this eco-friendly solution!

Favorite Fast Meal: Mexican Pizza. We are absolutely making these pizzas this week.

Favorite WAKE UP!: Clocky Alarm Clock on Wheels. I can’t decide if an alarm clock on wheels is a good idea or not. I think I’d probably wake up angry/hurt myself chasing this alarm clock around in the morning….but I’d be awake. Do you think it could go fetch me some coffee while it’s on the run? Then I’d totally buy it.
