Are you looking for a fast, healthy snack? Well I have just the thing for you! Yogurt-dipped berries are frozen to become the perfect poppable bite for a hot day. Oh, and they’re red, white, and blue, just in time for the 4th of July.
Frozen Yogurt Berries (Printer-Friendly Recipe)
From: Spoonful of Sugar
Ingredients
Plain Greek Yogurt (flavored yogurt works too)
Berries (like strawberries and blueberries)
Honey, optional
Directions
Pour yogurt in a bowl with a squeeze of honey (I used about a cup of yogurt + 1 teaspoon of honey) and stir to thin the yogurt a bit. Using toothpicks, coat the berries with yogurt and place on a lined baking sheet. Once all of the berries are coated, place the pan in the freezer for at least an hour. Enjoy & store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.

I am thinking about making this for a 4th of July party, but I am wondering how long the snack will stay frozen if left out? How long did you let yours stay out before it started to melt? Thanks!

Great question! They start melting pretty fast, at room temperature mine started melting after about 15 minutes. I hope that helps ?
