You guys, it’s Friday! I’m back from my trip to the Black Hills and I’m feeling refreshed after spending a long weekend with two of my best friends from college.
We spent the weekend in a cozy cabin and had the best time reminiscing. No matter how long we go without seeing each other, we always pick up right where we left off. Isn’t that the best?
I am so happy that we made this trip happen. When can we start planning our next vacation? 😉
A gigantic thank you to Josh’s mom for flying out to Denver to stay with Quinn. I know that Quinn loved her special time with grandma, and I greatly appreciated the time away. What a great way to start the summer!

Favorite Side Dish: Cauliflower, Corn, and Cucumber Salad. I wouldn’t have thought of putting these ingredients together, but they make sense and are a welcome addition to my rotation of summertime salads!
Favorite Funny: This towel. Thanks to my mother-in-law, this dish towel is gracing our kitchen and making me giggle every time I see it. 🙂
