Hey, hey, heyyyy! In case you didn’t know, it’s Friday. The sun is shining bright here and I have no complaints.
I have been working less and less in the tax world these days and am excited to start planning some new adventures. I can’t wait to share those plans with you all! Soon, very soon.
I’ve been baking up a storm this week, developing yummy new recipes and am feeling super inspired. Also, Josh hit it out of the park with his Mother’s Day present to me: a new camera! The number of food photos I’ve taken this week is absurd.
Aside from all of that, Quinn and I had a really good week. We’ve really hit our stride. With me a little less tired, there’s a little less crabbiness in this household. Cheers to that!
(Can we just talk about that nap hair? That was one serious nap.)
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Let’s get it going with Friday Favorites!

Favorite Cake: Donut Mug Cake. All of the adorable.
Favorite Pillows: French Seam Envelope Pillowcases Tutorial. I need to get my butt in gear and finally make pillow covers. Because seriously, I’ve been holding off on this project for far too long!
Favorite Salad: Heirloom Tomato & Endive Salad + Olive Bagna Cauda. What a beauty.
Favorite Fun Craft: Ribbon Wands. I know a certain little girl who would love a wand. (Hint: She’s fancy and her name starts with a Q)
Favorite Bars: Peanut Butter Pie Bars. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?! OK!
Favorite Kitchen Inspiration: Combinations for a Classic Kitchen. I just love a bright, white kitchen.
Favorite Burger: Turkey Burrata Burger with Pistachio Basil Pesto. Burrata on a burger?! Also, onion rings. ONION RINGS!
Favorite Cake Stands: Neon Cake Stands. These cake stands make me incredibly happy. Like, overjoyed.
Favorite Ice Cream: Cheesecake Ice Cream Bites. You guys won’t believe how easy these are to make!
Favorite Schedule: My Perfect Schedule for 2-Year-Olds. We follow a fairly similar schedule. I absolutely think that following a schedule (with some room for adjustments) is important with a toddler. It keeps our day moving smoothly and I also think it helps Quinn sleep so well at night.
Favorite Breakfast: Steel-cut Oatmeal Pudding with Strawberries. Oh, yes. Oatmeal for breakfast doesn’t have to be bland and boring. YUM!
Favorite Cleaner: Homemade Orange Cleaner. Just what I’ve been looking for!
Favorite Appetizer: Spicy Taco Cheese Ball. Come to mama!!!!!!!
Favorite Toddler Fashion: This shirt. Sass for days. Also, I’m finally going to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend. I’ve been avoiding spoilers for MONTHS.
Have a fabulous weekend!
