It’s Friday! This week has been a good one.
Now, for the weekend. On the agenda: A Derby party, gardening, and Mother’s Day. Sounds like a good weekend to me!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there. Sending lots of love to my mom & Josh’s mom for the countless ways they have made life better. And happy birthday wishes to my always funny and kind brother-in-law, Derrick! Man, there’s just so much to celebrate, I think I better go eat some cake 🙂 But first, here are my favorite things. Favorite Bars: Chewy Brown Butter M&M Blondies. These look crazy good.
Favorite Apron: DIY French Striped Half Apron. What a classy looking apron.
Favorite Salad: Asparagus Pasta Salad. Asparagus is one of my favorite things about this time of year. This lovely salad is fresh & full of flavor.
Favorite Garden Supplies: Garden Wagon & Tools Toy Set for Kids. This is one of the presents we gave Quinn for her birthday and we’ve already gotten a ton of use out of it! She loves being a little helper.
Favorite Breakfast:Â Cherry Cheesecake Coffee Cake. This totally qualifies as a breakfast food.
Favorite Toddler Tamer: DIY Quiet Book. This book is genius.
Favorite Ice Cream:Peanut Butter Caramel S’mores Ice Cream. I’m pretty sure I have a new favorite ice cream flavor.
Favorite Spa Gift: Geometric Bath Shelf. Break out the bubble bath. Now I just need a spa tub…
Favorite Chicken:Â Greek Yogurt Curried Chicken Salad Sandwich. If you’ve never had curried chicken salad, now’s the time. DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!
Favorite Fashion:Jersey Top. I bought this shirt in olive earlier this week and I love it. It’s uber comfortable & flattering. I’ve already warned Josh that I’m going to go back and buy it in every color.
Favorite Salsa: 5 Minute Fresh Salsa. Homemade salsa is THE BEST.
Favorite Decor:Â DIY Anthropologie-style Metal Hurricane. How cool does this look? And those lights?! Fabulous.
Favorite Pizza:Three Delicious Ways with Skillet Pizza. Just another reason why cast iron skillets are a necessity.
Favorite Superheroes:Â Nurses! Happy Nurses Week to all of the nurses out there, especially to my two favorites: my sisters!
