Hey all! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Have you recovered from all of the turkey? After a Thanksgiving feast, I struggle-bussed my way through the evening. But then I decided to sneak another piece of pumpkin pie before bed. It felt like the right way to end the day.
Today was dedicated to enjoying Josh’s parents’ company, putting up Christmas decorations, and watching the big Iowa game (go Hawkeyes!!!!). Along with fresh snow on the ground, tons of leftovers, and a crock pot full of apple cider, I’d say this day was a success. 🙂
Have a fabulous weekend, all! Let’s kick it off with my favorite things; it’s time for Friday Favorites!

Favorite Cookies: Cranberry Orange Shortbread Cookies. I tell you what, cranberry and orange go together so beautifully.
Favorite Ice: Ice Lanterns. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. I will be doing this, mark my word.
Favorite Side: Trinidad Corn Pie. When the Thanksgiving scalloped corn leftovers are finished up, I am totally making this corn pie. It looks delicious!
Favorite Fireplace Accessory: Chevron Fireplace Screen. Our fireplace needs a facelift, and I think a new screen would do the trick. (I just need to convince Josh that our current screen is horribly outdated.)
Favorite Cheeeeeeese: Fresh Homemade Herbed Cheese. If you need me, I’ll be at home making cheese and eating it alllllll. Muhahahaha.
Favorite Ornaments: Metallic Wooden Ball Ornaments. Ohhhhh. I’ve decorated our Christmas tree with the same gold ornaments for several years now (don’t get me wrong, I love them), but I think these ornaments would go great with them. They would add just the right amount of pizzazz.
Favorite Puffs: Cream Puffs. Light and fluffy like snow, but way better tasting 😉
Favorite Fragrance: Holiday Stove Top Potpourri. A house shouldn’t just be decorated for the holidays, it should also smell like the holidays!
Favorite Chocolate: Butterfinger Overload Brownies. I just know I would eat too many of these and get a bellyache. But I don’t care, it would be worth it.
Favorite Wreath: DIY Cranberry Wreath. How pretty ♥
Favorite Meatballs: Moroccan Meatballs with Couscous Salad. MAKING THIS, STAT!
Favorite Warm Fashion: Flannel Plaid Infinity Scarf. Mad for plaid. These are adorbs (and a great price).
Favorite Drink: Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate. Color me intrigued. I’ve never had PB in my hot cocoa, but I imagine it would be divine.
Favorite Music to My Ears: Adele. Let’s all agree that Adele is the best, ok? Ok, thanks. Byeee.
Happy Friday!!
