Friday Favorites

November 20, 2015 by Melissa

Wait.  Hold up.  Thanksgiving is next week?  Wait.  That means that in one week from today I’ll be putting up the Christmas Tree?!  Cue the music.  It’s the hap-happiest season of all!  I’m officially giddy.

Another reason to be giddy: it’s the weekend.  Tonight we’re going out for dinner with another couple, which means Quinn gets to have an adventure with the babysitter.  Why do I get anxious every time I leave her?  I know she’ll be just fine; in fact, when I told her she gets to hang out Karyl tonight she clapped and said “YAY!”

PicMonkey CollageCan you blame me for not wanting to leave her?  Seriously, look at that face.  She’s just the cutest 🙂

The fun will continue tomorrow with football Saturday.  We’re having a couple of friends over & Josh is smoking some ribs.  Football food is the best and you can’t go wrong with smoked meat!

Alrighty, time to get this party started.  I hope you all have a fabulous day!  Let’s get the weekend started properly with Friday Favorites!

Favorite Side: Loaded Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes.  Loaded with goodness.  (Question: it’s completely acceptable to make both sweet potatoes and regular mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, right? You can never have too many potatoes, in my opinion.)

Favorite Pumpkin Project: Thankful Pumpkin.  Wouldn’t this be a lovely tradition to have?  We didn’t carve our Halloween pumpkins, so we could easily do this.
