Halloween Marshmallow Pops

October 29, 2015 by Melissa

I had a hankering for sugar, so I made marshmallow pops.  Marshmallows, chocolate, and Halloween sprinkles.  Sugar on sugar on sugar.  Sugar hankering cured!

Ingredients

Marshmallows
Chocolate (I used white chocolate chips)
Halloween sprinkles (or the sprinkles of your choosing)

Directions

Place marshmallows on sticks (straws, Popsicle sticks, etc.) and set aside.  Melt chocolate according to package directions in microwave or over a double boiler.  I did mine in the microwave: heat for 1 minute, stir, heat in 10-second intervals, stirring in between until completely melted. Dip marshmallows in melted chocolate & cover with sprinkles.  Place in cups (marshmallow side up) to allow the chocolate to harden a bit.  Enjoy!

You can never have too many Halloween straws, in my opinion.

Stick those marshmallows on the straws.

I opted for white chocolate for my dipping. Any chocolate will do!

Melted chocolate, marshmallows, & sprinkles. I like these Halloween sprinkles from Wilton.

Spinkle away.

Here's my PSA, ALWAYS PUT THE LID BACK ON THE SPRINKLES. If you have clumsy elbows like me you'll knock them over & they will spill everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

Here’s my PSA, ALWAYS PUT THE LID BACK ON THE SPRINKLES. If you have clumsy elbows like me you’ll knock them over & they will spill everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Quinn watched in amazement and then said “Oh, Mom” in the saddest/judgiest voice ever. I could only laugh at the whole mess.

Allow chocolate to set up by setting up the sticks in cups. Quinn could only look on in wonder. When the sprinkles spilled, she said "Oh, Mom" in the saddest/judgiest voice ever. It made a messy situation hilarious.

Allow the chocolate to set up by placing upright in glasses.  Now dig in!
