Am I the only one who keeps all of the birthday cards, Christmas cards, anniversary cards, St. Patrick’s Day cards, etc. that they receive? Please say I’m not alone. Because I seriously have boxes full of cards from years and years that I haven’t been able to part with. I suppose that makes me a sentimental pack rat. Well, in my quest to have an organized house, I decided it was time to organize the cards and put them together in books.
What do you think? Much better than hiding away in boxes, I think. So far I’ve only made books out of Quinn’s cards, but I say that’s a good start.
It’s a time-consuming project, but really not that difficult. Here are the materials you need: scrapbook paper, a hole punch, ring binders or ribbon, scissors, and boatloads of cards. Follow my instructions below:

Start by grouping cards together and figuring out how big the covers need to be. The biggest card in the group is your best bet; cut the paper big enough to cover the biggest card and you’re golden.

Baby Shower cards, 1st Birthday cards, and advice cards from the baby shower, all neatly packaged together 🙂

I printed titles on the white cards to label each book. I then glued the white labels onto the scrapbook paper. Finished!
I hope some of you sentimental pack rats love this project! Boy, does it feel good to be organized 🙂
