Oh hey, it’s Fri-day! This week was a fun one. My birthday was Monday, so last weekend was a special one with Josh & Quinn. Then on my actual birthday, Quinn and I had our own little girl’s day filled with shopping and ice cream. Hearing her say “mmmmm” after each bite of ice cream was my favorite. She also tried to forgo the spoon and just grab handfuls of ice cream straight out of the container, which was pretty precious (don’t worry honey, I’ve done the same thing before).
This weekend promises to be fun-filled, too. I have a hair appointment tomorrow morning (my hair has been driving me nuts lately, time for a new ‘do) and then we have a little BBQ to go to tomorrow night, which means Quinn’s having another adventure with a babysitter (twice in a month, wow!).

Favorite Frozen Goodie: No-Fry Fried Ice Cream. Ice cream is the best and this looks amazing.
Favorite Runner: DIY No Sew Burlap Table Runner. I NEED to do something with the burlap I have and this looks like the perfect project!
Favorite Breakfast: Avocado Eggs Benedict with Bacon & Goat Cheese. I love everything about this. Like I could resist eggs benedict anyway, but when you throw avocado, bacon, & goat cheese in the mix I don’t stand a chance.
Favorite Accessory: DIY Mystery-Braided Leather Cuff. Gorgeous.
Favorite Bars: I Want to Marry You Cookie Dough Bars. I don’t think I could eat these bars in front of anyone because I would be making far too many weird noises. Seriously, they look crazy good.
Favorite Kitchen: This one. I’m gonna close my eyes really tight and hope that when I open them, my kitchen looks like this.
Favorite Salad: Pesto Couscous Salad with Mozzarella and Tomatoes. Full of fresh flavors, I want to try this asap!
Favorite Fun: Homemade Giant Bubble Wand (and homemade bubble solution). May the rest of your August be filled with giant bubbles 🙂
Favorite Appetizer: Stuffed Pizza Popovers. I could cozy up with a plate of these, I wouldn’t mind that one bit.
Favorite Bathroom Art: This sign. In my quest for the perfect wall art for the bathroom, this just might be the winner. (Free Printable!)
Favorite Pies: Peach Hand Pies. Hand pies: For pie-lovers on the go.
Favorite Bench: Williams Sonoma Inspired DIY Outdoor Bench. Our front porch needs some serious TLC. This bench with a couple of colorful flower pots surrounding it would be perfection.
Favorite French Flavor: Sauteed Cream Cheese Crepes. I’m crazy for crepes.
Favorite Funny Fashion: Can’t I just hit the snooze button one more time?
