Hey, all! What a crazy, fast week! After a fun-filled few days last weekend, we’ve just been trying to slow the pace down & fall back into our usual routine. Did I mention last weekend was fun? Yep. It sure was.
We had a great time at the concert! John Prine and The Avett Brothers sure put on a good show. Having a babysitter also seemed to be a success; I had to fight back some tears a few times, but in the end, realized it was a good thing for both me & Quinn to be away from each other for a little bit. 6 hours, in fact. That’s the longest stretch to date!
Now for a relaxing weekend with my little toddler. I’m looking forward to it! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend….let it begin with Friday Favorites!

Favorite Footwear: Birkenstocks. Yea or nay on the return of the Birkenstocks? I vote “yea.” (You know I love a good sensible shoe.)
Favorite Crunch: White Chicken Chili Baked Taquitos. Taquitos make me happy.
Favorite Fun: How to Make a Rope Swing. I think we need one of these in the future…Quinn will love it!
Favorite Bite: Healthy Strawberry Shortcake Energy Bites. Healthy and delicious: a great combination!
Favorite Road Trip Saver: Road Trip Snack Boxes. Smart. Healthy snacks for traveling are a must. And a kid with a full belly = less crankiness.
Favorite Cookies: Cheesecake Filled Cookie Cups. Now this is my kind of dessert!
Favorite Funny: The return of The Tonight Show! After a two week break, Jimmy, Higgins, and The Roots are back. Hooray!
