It is a happy Friday, indeed! We will have a few friends here for the weekend, including a little guy who’s just a month older than Quinn, and we are set to have a fun time! Josh celebrated his 30th birthday (I know, I beat him to the big 3-0 almost 2 years ago) and we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. So we’re having a little shindig at our house tomorrow to celebrate the milestone birthday, with all of the grilled meats you could ever want. Then on Sunday, we are heading to Red Rocks for The Avett Brothers’ concert! That means we’re having our first non-family member babysitting Quinn (although it is a close family friend, so that makes it easier). I’m a wide mix of emotions, mainly excited, but also a little anxious!
Josh’s birthday cake was, of course, cornbread 🙂

Favorite Breakfast: Nutella Stuffed Pancakes. This is a brilliant recipe. Pancakes stuffed with Nutella? Yep. Brilliant.
Favorite Hair: The Chic Updo. Chic, indeed.
Favorite Food Explosion: Loaded Totchos. TOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Favorite Upcycle Project: DIY Upholstered Ottomon from a Coffee Table. Strongly considering doing this with an old coffee table we have. Love it!
Favorite Sandwich: The Ultimate Chickpea Salad Sandwich. I can’t wait to make this sandwich. I mean, look at that picture!
Favorite Outdoor Decor: DIY Succulent Chandelier. Gorgeous. Such a simple thing (made from a pot rack) that would transform an outdoor space.
Favorite Chocolate: Chocolate Cookies and Cream Cake. For the love of chocolate, this looks amazing!
Favorite Bedazzle Project: DIY Chevron Corkboard. I am totally doing this. I use a corkboard to hang up my jewelry and this would jazz it up nicely.
Favorite Pizza: BBQ Chicken Pizza (no knead crust). This crust is rising in my kitchen as we speak. Can’t wait to see if it turns out!
Favorite Styling: This beautiful coffee table styling. Major coffee table envy. It’s so simple and fresh.
Favorite Fiesta for my Mouth: Chili Lime Chicken Tacos. Flavor for days.
Favorite Organization: Chalkboard Mason Jar Lids. And now I want to store everything in my pantry in these cute jars.
Favorite Pies: Grilled Fruit Pies in a Cornmeal Crust. Cornmeal and fruit mix so well. And I imagine that grilling it takes the flavor to a whole new level.
Favorite Funny: Business Baby. These Business Baby memes floating around the interwebs this week are cracking. me. up.
