Happy day to you! I hope you all had a lovely week. Ours was fast and busy, so it will be nice to just chill for the holiday weekend. We’ll grill up some food and have some fun outdoors. As far as fireworks go, we’re hoping to see them from a distance at our house; hopefully it’s enough of a distance that Quinn can sleep through them! 🙂
Sassy McGee will be quite upset if the fireworks wake her up!

Favorite Upcycle Project: Turn an Old Shutter into a Fun 4th of July Decoration. Love! I saved some old shutters from our house, this would be a great way to use one of them!
Favorite Breakfast: 4th of July Granola Parfaits. A nice, light breakfast to start the day.
Favorite Game: Patriotic Bean Bag Toss. Easy to put together and sure to be fun!
Favorite Show-Stopper: Sparkler Cake for the 4th of July. Magnificent! Who needs fireworks when you have a cake like this?
Favorite Tank: Guest List Guarantee Top from ModCloth. A crisp, frilly white tank top is just my style.
Favorite Ice, Ice Baby: Berry Ice Cubes. Are you tired of the same boring water? ADD SOME BERRY CUBES!! (<<<< I’m saying that in my best infomercial voice.)
Favorite Wreath: Summery Felt Poppy Yarn Wreath. Adorbs.
Favorite Rings: Onion Rings + Spicy Dipping Sauce. It has been far too long since I ate an onion ring. These look tasty, tasty.
Favorite Outdoor Entertaining Feature: Outdoor Serving Station. Love, love, love this.
Favorite Cookie: Patriotic Sugar Cookie Cake. I will eat the whole thing. Don’t believe me? Just watch.
Favorite Funny Fails: 23 Hilarious Fourth of July Pinterest Fails. Hahahahaha. Because don’t we all have baking and craft fails? I had a baking fail similar to this one…
