Look what we did today! We had a fun afternoon painting with yogurt.
It was a hot, muggy day but we didn’t let that keep us inside. I put Quinn in a swimsuit, slathered her in sunscreen, and we headed outside to paint. Rather than using real paint (because I know how much she loves to put her fingers in her mouth) we colored yogurt with Kool-Aid.
Just sprinkle Kool-Aid powder into yogurt. Use as little or as much as needed to reach your desired shades.
Of course, to best enjoy the painting you’ll want to head outside. It’s waaaaaay easier to clean up. And don’t forget a wet wash cloth to clean baby up with before heading back indoors.
You won’t be able to keep these yogurt masterpieces (for fear that the dairy would start to stink), so make sure to take plenty of pictures to capture the memories. Have fun with your little artist!
