Well hello there, and happy Friday to you. I hope you all had a splendid week! It’s been a busy one here, but that’s the name of the game isn’t it?
I’m excited to get in the kitchen this weekend; I feel like I haven’t been baking much lately, so I’m looking forward to getting some flour on my hands! Maybe my sous chef, Quinn, will help me out..
She knows her way around the kitchen. 😉 P.S. Look at the peonies we picked from our front yard!! Yay!

Favorite Cakes: Mini Clementine Upside Down Cakes. A gorgeous treat! These little beauties would be great for guests.
Favorite Hair: How to Style a Long Bob. The long bob, aka “The Lob,” is technically my hair situation at the moment. Have I been styling my “Lob” correctly? Absolutely not. Unless a sloppy 2 second ponytail counts as styling. It’s more of a “Slob” in my case…hehehehehe. But seriously, I must try this tutorial because my hair needs to have waves like these…
Favorite Bread: Cinnamon Sticks. I will eat all of these. All. of. them.
Favorite Glow: The Summer (Sunless) Tan. As much sunscreen as I slathered on myself during our recent trip to Florida, I still walked away with a tan. Easy on the sun, you say? I hear ya. I want to keep this pale skin healthy. But, I must say I love how a tan looks. Thankfully, there are so many great sunless tanners on the market. Check out TBD’s list of 9 sunless tanners; including gradual, instant, and self tanners!
Favorite Crisp: Oatmeal Cookie Blueberry Crisp. This crisp looks simply delightful.
Favorite Adventure: How to Camp with a Baby. I’m not much of a camper, so call me crazy, but I think camping with Quinn would be fun (and these tips make it seem manageable). What is happening to me?!
Favorite Cheesecake: No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake. For the love of chocolate and peanut butter, I NEED THIS!
Favorite Photos: ‘Perfect Imperfections’ photo series from photographer Neely Ker-Fox. Just beautiful. I’ve embraced my imperfections lately, in fact, I love myself more for them.

Favorite Breakfast: Glazed Fresh Strawberry Fritters. Well fritter me timbers. Fresh strawberries in fritters! Hooray!
Favorite Washi Tape Project: Washi Tape Bunting. I meant to make a mini bunting out of fabric to top Quinn’s birthday cake, but ran out of time. Silly me, I should have made one out of Washi Tape!
Favorite Sandwich: Fried Ham and Cheese Melts. Move aside boring ham & cheese sandwiches, these pockets of cheesy goodness are here to replace you. I might add a pickle and some creamy mustard to mine, because I’m wild like that.
Favorite Shorts: Scalloped Summer Shorts from Gap. I bought these shorts and love them! They’re cute, colorful, and just the right length.
Favorite Frozen Goodie: Ice Cream Stuffed Cannoli. ICE CREAM STUFFED CANNOLI! I mean, come on. How delicious.
Favorite Sign: DIY Summer Sign. This sign would be super cute outside, me thinks. 🙂
