Hey, hey it’s FRIDAYYYY! I don’t know where the week went! We had a good week around these parts. How was your week?
The biggest accomplishment of the week was getting baby girl to hold her own bottle. Maybe we should have tried earlier, but she was just so happy holding onto one of our fingers while she ate that we just didn’t push it. But, *sigh,* I guess she’s growing up. Now if we could just get her to put food in her mouth instead of squishing it in her fingers and smearing it all over her clothes. Seriously. She smelled like a banana today.
Oh well, I love my messy little banana. 🙂
Have a fabulous weekend, folks! Time for my favorite things from around the web; it’s Friday Favorites!

Favorite Comfort Food: Creamy Chicken and Buttermilk Dumplings. Dumplings. One of the best things ever. Yum!
Favorite Bouquet: Valentine’s Day Candy Bouquet. A great alternative to flowers, this would make a lovely gift (ahem, Josh). (P.S.-I wouldn’t be mad at a bouquet of flowers either. Or cookies. Or chocolate.)
Favorite Salad: Sweet Potato and Quinoa Salad. Making this! This would surely fill me up at lunchtime.
Favorite Beauty Hack: Homemade Biore Strips. Treat yo’ face.
Favorite Chicken: Greek Chicken Bake. Ohhhh, mama likes the looks of this dish. Mmmhmmm.
Favorite Candles: Easy Valentine’s Candles. Super cute, super easy. Love.
Favorite Chocolate: The Very Best Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Brownies. Get out of here. Seriously? These look ridiculously good.
Favorite Floor Covering: DIY Woven Circle Mat. We (ok, Josh) recently ripped out the beautiful carpet (I can’t even type that with a straight face. It was green carpet. Green.) in our master bedroom and Quinn’s room. The hardwood flooring underneath the carpet was in decent shape, but there are definitely a few areas that need to be covered up and eventually refinished. Long story short, we need rugs. Shorter story, this rug is adorable.
Favorite Bread: Roasted Garlic Breadsticks. BREADSTICKS!! My favorite.
Favorite Remedy: Homemade Vapor Rub Shower Cubes. So I’ve had a cold that has been lingering for 2 weeks now. Just when I think it’s going away, it comes back. Not cool, cold. Presently, congestion is the main problem, so I think these shower cubes would help kick it for good.
Favorite Sprinkles: Funfetti Pound Cake. Any recipe with sprinkles is one that I love. And I can never pass up a good pound cake.
Favorite Funnies: The Tonight Show this past week has been hilarious. The Saved By the Bell reunion brought me right back to my childhood; no Saturday morning was complete without that masterpiece of a show. Also, the lip-sync battle and Fresh Prince intro were top-notch. The best.
