Hey there and happy Friday to you! It’s good to be back to blogging after a trip back home. We had such a great time back in South Dakota and Iowa. All of the fears I had about traveling with Quinn were silly, she was wonderful! The thing I was most nervous about was the flight back to Denver because it was just me and her. Guess what? She slept through the whole flight and didn’t fuss one bit! What a relief!
Visiting with family and a few of my friends was so much fun. We sure have missed everyone back there! Quinn seemed to love meeting new people and going to new places, all while being off her usual routine. With a successful first trip under our belts, I’m already looking forward to going back at Christmas!
Above are some of the pics I took on our trip, there are dozens more 🙂
I hope your November is off to a great start. Can you believe it’s almost Thanksgiving?? Say what?! What are you most looking forward to this month? One thing I’m looking forward to is holiday baking. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow so I think I shall declare tomorrow a day of baking!! My favorite! Speaking of favorites (nice transition, eh?), it’s time for my favorite things from around the web in this week’s Friday Favorites! Enjoy and have a great weekend!
***click on the red text to be led to the sources of my favoritesFavorite Appetizer: Baked Camembert with Cranberries & Walnuts. If this isn’t the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer, I don’t know what is.
Favorite Blanket: DIY Lovey Tag Blanket. Whoever’s idea it was to put tags on blankets and toys is a genius. Seriously. Baby girl loves a good tag.
Favorite Breakfast: Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls. I’m over here drooling, don’t mind me.
Favorite Frame: Striped Washi Tape Frame Tutorial. So cute and a great way to spice up old picture frames.
Favorite Cupcake: Turkey Cupcakes. I’d like to gobble one of these up…
Favorite Accessory: Sideways Initial Necklace. I’m not a flashy lady, so this necklace is just my taste.
Favorite Game Day Food: Slow Cooker Cocktail Sausages. This is a potentially dangerous recipe for me to make. I would eat a ridiculous amount. So naturally, I’m going to make them.
Favorite Plate: The Giving Plate. In this month of giving, a plate like this is perfect. It would also make a great gift (loaded with cookies, of course!).
Favorite Pumpkin Recipe: Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cake with Brown Sugar Crumble. A simple recipe that looks downright delicious.
Favorite Footwear: TOMS Slippers. TOMS sells slippers now!!! Slippers are my favorite.
Favorite Side Dish: Potato Gratin. This side dish would go perfectly with ham for a comforting meal.
Favorite Table Topper: Wine Cork Turkey Place Card Holders. Cute little turkeys. 🙂
Favorite Skillet Sweet: Skillet Apple Cobbler. Goodness me, I want this ASAP!
Favorite Funny: The 50 Funniest Puns. I dare you not to laugh.
Happy Friday!
