From: Every Last Bite
Makes: 12-15 balls
Ingredients
1½ cups chopped dried apple
¼ cup dates
½ tbsp honey (or other sweetener, like agave nectar)
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp cinnamon
¼ cup toasted pecans
Directions
Add the dried apples, dates, and honey to the bowl of a food processor (or a blender). Pulse until the apples are in small pieces and the ingredients become a sticky mixture. Now add the nutmeg, cinnamon, and toasted pecans (if pecans aren’t roasted, place in a 350 degree oven for at least 5 minutes, until fragrant). Pulse until the pecans are smaller in size.
Use a spoon, your hands, or a cookie scoop to form balls (about 2 tablespoons each). Store the bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for a month. Enjoy!
