Friday is here again, which means another week flew by! I need a remote control for life so I can fast forward, rewind, or pause whenever I please. It definitely would have come in handy this week when Quinn had her two month shots. Fast forward please!! Poor thing screamed like the dickens as soon as the needle hit her skin and then screamed some more later that night. We definitely know what her “I’m in pain” scream sounds like now. Talk about a heartbreaking sound. Thankfully she’s back to her usual self. Whew! Today was filled with smiles and her observing everything. It’s so awesome seeing her learn new things everyday. Maternity leave has been great, I don’t want it to end, but I’m so lucky I work from home so I can continue watching her grow.
I could just stare at her face all day. Oh wait, I pretty much do. 🙂

Favorite Picnic Packing: DIY Box Lunch for a Picnic or Party. Aren’t picnics the best? A bug-free picnic followed by frolicking in a meadow filled with daisies on a warm, but not too warm, day. I live in a dreamland sometimes. 🙂

Favorite Candle: DIY Citronella Candles. One must pack a citronella candle for their picnic. I’ll stop talking about picnics now.
Favorite Grilled Treat: Grilled Angel Food Cake with Rhubarb Sauce. Because everything should be made on the grill in the summertime. Also, check out how easy it is to make that rhubarb sauce!
Favorite Plant: How to grow a lemon tree from seed. I’m looking for some good indoor plants, a lemon tree seems right up my alley. Now where can I find a green thumb? I seem to have lost mine.
Favorite Mini Dessert: Pineapple Upside-Down Cupcakes. Adorable dessert!
Favorite DIY Organization Project: DIY Jewelry Displays. Make this and pop a few fun rings in it for a great gift for the accessory queen in your life.
Favorite Dogs: Hushed Puppy Hot Dogs with Collard Green Relish. Just when I thought hot dogs couldn’t be more American they went and dipped them in hush puppy batter. Yum.
Favorite Wall Hangings: Transfer Image Canvases. I love how canvas art looks and would love to transfer some of Quinn’s newborn pics onto them!
Favorite Toffee: Cashew Toffee. You know that dessert you make with the intention of sharing it with other people but then you end up eating it all yourself? I have a feeling this is one of those desserts.
Favorite Funny: Birth of a spork. I always wondered where they came from 🙂
