Let the weekend begin! I quite possibly have a weekend free from taxes, so I’m ready to step away from the computer. Before I do though, let me share some of my favorite things from around the interwebs with you in my weekly Friday Favorites! Have a great weekend, all!
Favorite Cookie: Oatmeal Caramel Skillet Cookie with Marshmallow and Chocolate. Holy buckets, isn’t this the best way to kick off Friday Favorites?!
Favorite Garland: Honeycomb Garland. I want to throw a party just so I can make this garland…is that weird?
Favorite Meal: Chicken Parmesan Meatball Casserole. What a perfect meal for a cold and snowy night. Will winter ever end?
Favorite Nail Love: Mani-Pedi Pairings. Who says your fingers and toes have to match? Not Lauren Conrad, and I totally accept her beauty advice.
Favorite Tea Time Treat: Lemon Poppyseed Scones. After a lovely tea at The Brown Palace last Sunday, I am on the hunt for great scone recipes. I’m obsessed.
Favorite DIY Project: Make a Chic Tray from a $2 Frame. Our coffee table could use a cute tray.
Favorite Chocolate Treat: Individual Warm Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Sauce. Is there a better food combo than chocolate and peanut butter. Me thinks not.
Favorite DIY Baby Project: Pacifier Clips. These are a million times cuter than any pacifier clips you can buy (unless you buy them from Paige’s Etsy shop).
Favorite Breakfast: Easy, 30 Minute Cinnamon Roll Skillet Cake. After asking Josh to make me a cinnamon roll a few days ago (yes, just one cinnamon roll), I realized maybe I do have some weird pregnancy cravings. If he did actually know how to make cinnamon rolls, I’m sure by the time they were ready I would have been craving a cheeseburger instead. This 30 Minutes Cinnamon Roll Skillet Cake will come in handy next time I have a cinnamon roll craving (and I’m sure that time will come).
Favorite Freezer Meal Tips: 7 Easy Tips for Freezer Cooking Like a Pro. I narrowed down my list of freezer meals that I’m going to make in the next month before baby girl makes her debut. These tips are wonderful and I can’t wait to get freezin’. I’ll share my experience with you all!
Favorite Cheesy Goodness: Wisconsin Macaroni and Cheese. Growing up in Iowa, I learned to have a great appreciation for our neighbors to the east and their cheesy ways. This recipe is sure to please, it has smoked brats in it after all.
Favorite Hair: I think I need to sneak in a hair appointment before my due date. This cut looks great to me!
Favorite Party Food: Cupcake Fondue. Dip a batch of cupcakes in the toppings of your choice: frosting, sprinkles, chocolate, etc. This would be a fantastic birthday party treat! Plus, it saves you from having to frost a bunch of cupcakes and still wins you that hostess with the mostess crown you so deserve.
Favorite Funny Fashion: Today Is My Hot Mess Day. Everyday really.
We’re getting closer to meeting our baby girl! Eeek!!!
