Happy Valentine’s Day to my lovely Spoonful readers. Quick, if you haven’t had any Valentine’s Day goodies, stuff your face with the nearest chocolate you can find. There, that’s much better. Any excuse to eat more sweets is fine by me. I also like taking a moment to think about all of the people I love. Maybe I should remember to do that everyday anyways, huh?
I’m calling it an earlier night off from the tax scene and will be enjoying the time with my sweetheart. We’re staying in this evening to eat everything I love from Mici and watching Netflix. I just love cozy nights at home. 🙂 It’s crazy to think that we’ve been together for 9 of these Valentines…I could get mushy here, but I’ll spare you. 🙂 Tomorrow is a big day filled with 8 hours of a birthing class. Doesn’t 8 hours seem excessive?! Let’s hope it goes fast. Sunday should be a relaxing day and hopefully one filled with me working on some craft projects for baby girl’s nursery. I plan on posting pictures of the progress in the coming weeks.
I hope you all have a fantastic Valentine’s Day doing something you love! Now let’s kick off the weekend with a special Valentine’s Day Friday Favorites. ♥
***click on the red text to be led to the sources of my favoritesFavorite Chocolate: Slow Cooker Chocolate Fondue. And now I know how I’m going to finish eating the marshmallows I made.
Favorite Wreath: DIY Ruffle Wreath. Isn’t this pretty?
Favorite Meat: Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon. Bring the steakhouse home this Valentine’s Day.
Favorite Treat Packaging: Free Valentine Printables for Teacher S’mores Mason Jar Valentines. These are adorable! I must store this in my memory bank for future use.
Favorite Truffles: Red Velvet Cake Truffles. Because it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without some Red Velvet in your life (read: your mouth).
Favorite Vase: Candy Heart Centerpiece. Not a fan of eating Conversation Hearts, but I think I’d like decorating with them!
Favorite Breakfast: Valentine’s Funfetti Pancakes with Vanilla Greek Yogurt Sauce. Sprinkles scream love!
Favorite Mantel Display: Easy Valentine’s Day Glitter Sign. Simple and festive without looking like Cupid threw up in your house. 🙂
Favorite Fancy Dessert: Crème brûlée for Two. Oohlala, aren’t we fancy?
Favorite Make-at-Home Gift: DIY Romantic Edible Arrangements. I’ve always thought it would be fun to make one of these at home. By making it at home you control the quality of produce and can add personal touches like chocolate coating, marshmallows, cookies, etc.
Favorite Easy Treat: Easy Valentine’s Day Cookies. There’s still time to make these today!
Favorite Future Craft: Valentine Craft for Grandma. I know a couple of Grandmas that might like getting one of these next year. 🙂
Favorite Cake: White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. Gorgeous cheesecake. Like I needed another reason to make a cheesecake.
Favorite Funny: These 21 Awkward Valentine’s Day Cards. Awkward is my favorite.
Check out my bump this week!
