Christmas Goodies

December 19, 2013 by Melissa

Come take a look at all of the goodies I made for Christmas.  Here’s what my kitchen looked like the other night…

007Do you think I went overboard? Nah, there’s no such thing.  Not when you end up with a platter full of goodness.

Let’s take a closer look at the featured players on the platter.

Reese’s Fudge.  Ridiculously easy to make and very difficult to resist.  You can find the recipe here.
Fotor121916451 (Idiot Proof) Salted Chocolate Covered Pretzel + Nutella Turtle Cookies.  These no-bake cookies are sinfully delicious.  Recipe here.

Fotor1219164120 Holiday Oreo Truffles.  A real crowd-pleaser.  Festive and easy.  Recipe here.

Fotor1219164252 Big Soft Ginger Cookies.  A recipe that I’ve been using for years, it never gets old.  Recipe here.

Fotor1219164620Gingerbread Boys.   Perhaps my favorite cookie, there’s such a great mix of salty and sweet with these bad boys.  Recipe here.

Fotor1219164730Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing.  Just bake up your go-to recipe for sugar cookies and follow this recipe for Royal Icing.  This was my first time making Royal Icing and I kept it simple, but I think they turned out pretty good.

Fotor1219165029Chocolate Crinkle Cookies.  These cookies have fast become a favorite on our cookie platter.  Recipe here.

Fotor1219165253Good thing I’m wearing maternity pants.  🙂
