Welcome to Friday! I’m excited for this evening, my mustached husband and I are heading to our storage unit to pick up Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations (!), then we’re off on a date night. Then on Sunday I’m going to my first Broncos game, and it look like it will be a good one. While I go get myself gussied up for the evening (meaning: putting on maternity pants), please enjoy my favorite things from around the web in this week’s Friday Favorites and then you go enjoy your weekend!
***click on the red text to be led to the sources of my favoritesFavorite Breakfast: Lemon Cranberry Muffins. These muffins will make any morning tolerable.
Favorite Mug: Spray painted mugs. Gold is gorgeous.
Favorite Meal: Cider Braised Country Style Pork Ribs and Cannellini Beans. Stick to your ribs (in a good way), good old home cookin’.
Favorite Giving Idea: Paying Blessings Forward. I love, love, love this idea.
Favorite Appetizer: Baked Stuffed Figs with Goat Cheese & Pine Nuts. Don’t make these fancy-schmancy figs if you want your guests to keep their socks on. Get it? Because they’ll knock their socks off. Wait, are jokes not funny when you have to explain them?
Favorite Jewelry: DIY J. Crew Crystal Flower Necklace. Fanciness doesn’t have to cost a lot.
Favorite Snack: Heath Bar Saltine Toffee. I haven’t made saltine toffee for months. I just so happen to have all of these ingredients lying around….hooray!
Favorite Kitchen Tip: How to peel and cut a butternut squash. After looking at this, I feel silly for struggling with a squash earlier this weekend. I cut mine in half, roasted it, and then attempted to scoop out the scalding hot mush….not the easy route. Now I know.
Favorite Side Dish: Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon. This is on my recipe plan for the weekend!
Favorite Hair Tips: 29 Hairstyling Hacks Every Girl Should Know. Have I really been using bobby pins the wrong way my entire life?!
Favorite Pie: Mini Crescent Pumpkin Pies. I will eat Pumpkin Pie in all forms, especially miniature form so I can feel like a giant. A pumpkin-loving giant.
Favorite Reading List: TIME’s 100 Greatest Novels. I’ve been on a classic literature kick for the past year and a half. It might take forever, but I’m loving making my way through the list (plus more)!
Favorite Drink: Mulled Cider. This is the epitome of autumn drinks.
Favorite Feel Good: 5-year old’s Make-A-Wish comes true: he’s Batman! San Francisco turned into Gotham City to go above and beyond for this little boy’s wish. So heartwarming. 🙂
Now, let’s see what size produce the baby is this week…

As usual, lovin’ your favorites:) Especially the kitchen tip and the giving idea. I’m terrible at peeling and cutting butternut squash. It’s always a struggle. Thanks for sharing!:)

My favorite thing about your Friday Favorites has to be your baby bump pictures! You are too cute! How are you feeling lately?

Thank you, my friend! I’ve been feeling alright lately, just tired and still taking nausea medication…but I’m starting to feel the baby move a little so that makes it all worth it! How’s your baby treating you? Are you getting anxious for January to get here?!
