From: A Real-Life Housewife
Makes: 16 cookie slices

Ingredients

1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Assorted M&M’s or sprinkles

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray a 10″ cast iron skillet with cooking spray.

Add both sugars and butter to a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth.  Mix in the vanilla.  Now beat in the eggs, one at a time.  Time for the dry ingredients, add the flour, baking soda, and salt.  Mix until just combined.  With a wooden spoon or spatula stir in the chocolate chips.

Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared skillet.  Sprinkle with M&M’s.  Bake for about 30 minutes or until the top of the cookie is lightly golden brown.  Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.  Enjoy!

Yum! There’s not much better than a warm skillet cookie with a nice scoop (or two) of ice cream on top of it!! I have a feeling I am going to make this soon!
