Pretty Pretzels

July 25, 2013 by Melissa

In preparation for my trip last weekend, I wanted to make sure I had the proper snacks for my 6+ hour drive.  I stood in the snack aisle for a good 5 minutes trying to pick a good snack.  Did I want salty?  Did I want sweet?  Then *smack my forehead, why don’t I just jazz up some pretzels with chocolate & sprinkles?  It’s the best of both worlds!  Easy to make and easy to munch on while driving, these little treats didn’t disappoint.

060All you need to make these treats are pretzels, candy coating (or almond bark or chocolate), and sprinkles.  Melt your candy coating according to package directions, dip the pretzels in, and sprinkle away.  Let the candy coating harden and then your pretzels are ready to consume!

Melt white chocolate. I used a white candy melt and microwaved 1/4 of it according to the package directions.

Dip in the pretzels. Cover the whole thing or part, like I did.

Let the chocolate harden and enjoy. That's it folks. It's really easy.

Thanks! The salty and sweet combination is the best, and sprinkles make everything better. 🙂
