You’re kidding me, right? This simply cannot be the last weekend in June. Please slow down summer! Since this is the last Friday before the 4th of July, I stuck to a patriotic theme in this week’s Friday Favorites. I just love savoring summer and Independence Day is the best day to celebrate freedom and sunshine. Happy weekend to you all! Please check out my favorite 4th things from around the world wide web in this week’s Friday Favorites! Now I better make some 7/4 inspired recipes to share with you next week.

Favorite Bars: Cherry Pie Bars. Oofta, gimme some of these bars!
Favorite Ice Cream Accessory: Patriotic Ice Cream Cone Wrapper. Adorable little wrappers to hold your cone on a hot day.
Favorite Dogs: Jalapeno Cheddar Pretzel Dogs. Swoon-worthy dogs right here. Yum!
Favorite Pinwheels: Patriotic Pinwheels. I didn’t realize that making pinwheels is so easy! Now let’s get just the right amount of wind for these fellas.
Favorite Cookies: Firecracker Cutout Cookies. Dainty looking cookies that pack a punch. Where’s the punch you ask? In the Pop Rocks!
Favorite Fashion: I love that this outfit is subtly patriotic. I’m especially loving the tank. The necklace, however, is waaaaaaaaay too expensive.
Favorite Drink: Patriotic Polka Dot Milkshake. Polka dots and ice cream make me happy. 😀
Favorite Straws: Happy 4th Straws. If you want to be the hostess with the mostess this 4th, makes some of these straws. Here are a couple of good sites for buying straws: Cupcake Express & Kara’s Party Ideas.
Favorite Cupcakes: Red, White, and Blue Cupcakes. Everyone’s favorite poke cake is now in cupcake form! The recipe is easy and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Favorite Table Runner: Bandana Table Runner. Not every decoration needs to be Red, White, & Blue. Using a mix of colored bandanas to make this table runner will bring a little extra American flare to your picnic table.
Favorite Frozen Treat: Fourth of July Yogurt Pops. Yogurt and fruit are the only ingredients needed to make these tasty pops. It’s the perfect secretly healthy dessert for your festivities.
Favorite Blossoms: Hydrangeas. To celebrate all that is summer, one must have a pretty bouquet on the table.
Favorite Side Dish: Spicy Southwest Corn. Last summer I fell head over heals for Mexican Street Corn, so when I saw this recipe I just knew it would be a winner. Plus, this side dish will be much less messy to eat than corn on the cob!
Favorite Decor: American Country Decor. Simple decorations are the best. I’ve got mason jars, now I just need to head out to the craft store for a little flag and then search for the flowers. Maybe some white hydrangeas or red poppies!
Favorite Pie: Stars and Stripes Pie. The ultimate American dessert: pie.
Favorite Fireworks: Whatever is around! Make sure you head out to watch fireworks in your area this 4th (like I need to remind you). Grab a good spot, good friends, and enjoy the view!
Happy Friday to you!!
