Raspberry Peach Iced Tea

May 30, 2013 by Melissa

With warm weather at our heels, so are the nights where all you really want to do is sit outside and enjoy the beauty.  To go with that relaxation, you’re probably going to need an icy beverage.  I can tell you that Raspberry Peach Iced Tea hits the spot!  Fruity, yet not overly sweet, this drink is a refreshing treat for the hot summer months.

Raspberry Peach Iced Tea             Printer-Friendly Recipe

Slightly Adapted From: Damn Delicious
Yields: About 4 glasses

Ingredients:

4 tea bags
1 cup raspberries, plus more for garnish
2 peaches, sliced, plus more for garnish
3 tablespoons agave nectar, or more to taste

Directions:

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and then steep 4 tea bags in the water for 3-5 minutes.  Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool completely.

In a blender, puree the peaches, raspberries, and agave nectar.  Strain the fruit puree with a cheesecloth or fine sieve.  Combine the fruit puree and tea in a pitcher.  Mix well.  Let the tea chill in the refrigerator before serving.  To serve, pour the tea over ice and garnish with more peaches and raspberries.
