Friday Favorites

Friday is here and I was off work while the sun was still up!!!  Hooray!  I’m going to keep this short because you have Friday Favorites to enjoy and I HAVE to kick my feet up and relax. 🙂

But first, a quick look at my Tax Season Countdown Jars:

I hope you all have a glorious Easter weekend, get outside and enjoy the early signs of spring!  Here are my favorite things from around the web in this week’s Friday Favorites.

Favorite Peeps: Hula Bunny Peeps.  Sassy, tropical peeps.

Favorite Eggs: Glittered Eggs.  Oh Martha, you always know what I want.

Favorite Cake: Hidden Rainbow Easter Egg Cake.  Surprise!  I love surprises in the form of cake.

Favorite Vase: DIY Painted Mason Jar Vase.  Because I love mason jars so much, I couldn’t resist favoriting this DIY project.  I’m adoring the blush color of the roses and the paint.

Favorite Ham: Honey Baked Ham.  Mouth-watering.  Anybody want to make me this ham on Sunday??

Favorite Kitchen Accessory: I’m kicking myself (ow!) for not buying these Anthro egg crates earlier, especially the yellow and turquoise ones.  They would be so cute to have for the egg dying I’m planning on doing Sunday.   Maybe next year…

Favorite Macarons: Easter Egg Macarons.  See how cute the above egg crate is with these adorable macarons?!  Keep an eye out for a future macaron post, because I have a hankering for them.

Favorite Truffles: Cookie Dough Bunny Truffles.  Too cute to eat?  Maybe.  But probably not because they’re cookie dough and we all know cookie dough is impossible to resist.

Favorite Dress: The Kennedy Seersucker Sheath.  I am missing Charlottesville and all of the seersucker this time of year.

Favorite Breakfast: Peepcakes.  Chop up Peeps and put ’em in your pancakes.  Say what?!  (to my sister Shannon-are these your dream pancakes?!)

Favorite Spring Cleaning Tools: TLC’s list of Top 5 Spring Cleaning Tools.  I really need a feather duster.  Like real bad.

Favorite Sandwich: Egg Salad Sandwich.  I have a feeling these sandwiches will be on my lunch menu next week. 🙂  I might have to spring for croissants; egg salad and buttery croissants go together like me and cupcakes (perfectly, in case you didn’t know).

Favorite Copy-cat Recipe:  Homemade Cadbury Creme Eggs.  People seem to either love or loathe these chocolates.  What’s your vote?  I’m good with one a year, that’s my limit.

Favorite Bomb: Easter Egg Bath Bombs.  Yes, all things Easter means all things egg.  But come on, a girl (or boy) needs a relaxing bath every now and then.  Bath Bombs would be a fun grown-up Easter basket present, don’t you think?

Favorite View: Sunrise at Red Rocks.  I can’t wait to see this Sunday morning.

Favorite Popcorn: Salted Caramel Easter Popcorn.  Popcorn loaded with pretzels, marshmallows, and candy.  Count me in!

Favorite Funny: Easter bunnies are kind of scary.  Not clown-level scary, but still scary.
