Happy 38th Anniversary to my parents!!! I’m proud to call these two people my parents. They’ve provided a wonderful example to me and I thank them for the loving household they raised me in. Have fun in the Hills you lovebirds. 🙂 And happy Friday to all of you!! I’m planning on pushing every second of this weekend to its maximum potential. It is quite possibly my last weekend off until the end of tax season. Yikes! Let’s not talk about that right now though. I hope you all have something fun in store this weekend! For now, please enjoy my favorite finds from around the web and life in this week’s Friday Favorites.

Favorite Fudge: Caramel Hot Chocolate Fudge. How amazing does this look?! Omnomnomnomnom.
Favorite Scarf Helper: How to braid a scarf. Awesome! A new way to wear that long scarf you’ve got hidden in your closet.
Favorite Fiesta Food: Authentic Tex-Mex Carnitas. I trust this blogger when she says this is her favorite food. I’m drooling just thinking about this recipe. Can’t wait to try it!
Favorite Restaurant: Lauer-Krauts in Brighton, CO. We finally ate at this restaurant last weekend with Josh’s parents. I loved it!! If this place sounds familiar to you, perhaps you’ve seen them on Dinners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
Favorite Breakfast: Red Velvet Waffles with Cream Cheese Glaze. Perfect breakfast for Valentine’s Day?? I think so.
Favorite App: Shopkick. My sister introduced me to this app & I love it! Earn kicks by walking into stores, flipping through look-books, and/or linking with your debit card and you’ll eventually get a gift card to a store of your choice. Fantastic! Like I needed more reasons to walk into Target…
Favorite Schnitzel: Chicken Schnitzel. If you’ve never had Schnitzel, you MUST have some immediately. Your taste-buds will thank me.
Favorite Workout Helper: Use this exercise finder to help you target certain areas of your body. Pictures and instructions are available to help you know what to do! Time to get in shape girl.

Favorite Shoe Guide: Ever wonder what kind of pants or skirt to wear with your shoes? Use this simple shoe grid to guide you.
Favorite Dip: Jalapeno Popper Dip. This dip sounds too good to resist. Super Bowl Sunday could give me a great reason (like I need one) to make it!

Favorite Treat: Sinfully Easy Chocolate Croissants. Ready in 35 minutes, these simple treats will be sure to please! I want one all 16 right now.
Favorite Target Saver: This link has 20 posts of Target Training. What is Target Training you ask? Well, it’s figuring out how to shop smartly at Target. I shop there waayyyy too much, but hey, now I know how to look for the best deals so it’s ok. Right?
Favorite Soup: Spicy Sausage, Potato, & Kale Soup. For all of you stuck in the cold, don’t you think this soup would make it a little more bearable? Btw, the photos on this blog are gorgeous!
Favorite Teary Moment: 105-year old Edythe Kirchmaier was on Ellen yesterday and she melted my heart. What an inspiration she is. Help Edythe’s birthday wish of 105,000 likes on Direct Relief International’s Facebook page come true. Edythe has volunteered with Direct Relief for nearly 40 years. What a lady.
