Friday Favorites

It’s still Friday, right?  Ugh.  I worked a little late today and can’t believe it’s already after 9pm!  There’s no way I was going to forget Friday Favorites though, I promise you.  I had a long week and am very much looking forward to this weekend.  Josh’s parents are going to be here tomorrow for a weekend visit, so that should be fun!  I love having house-guests!  I hope you all have a fantastic weekend & enjoy my favorite finds from around the web in this week’s Friday Favorites.

Favorite Pizza: The Great Greek Pizza.  Pile a ton of flavorful ingredients high atop a pita to make this delish pizza.

Favorite Rose Project: Rose Heart Shadow Box.  While I was cleaning last weekend, I ran across a bunch of dried roses from Josh in a shoe box stored away in our basement.  So happy that there’s a decorative purpose for them now!

Favorite Breakfast: Blueberry Donut Muffins.  mouth-watering, don’t you think?

Favorite Shirt: Iowa-scape Tee from Locally Grown Clothing.  Still representing Iowa. 🙂  Check out their website to see if your home state is available!

Favorite Sweet Treat: Sopaipillas.  I used to looooove eating Sopapillas at Mrs. Lady’s when we’d go to Arnold’s Park in the summertime.  Can’t wait to make some of these and dunk them in honey.

Favorite Wreath: The Coffee Filter Wreath.  Gorgeous!  It looks a little time-consuming, but the finished product looks like it’s totally worth it!

Favorite Appetizer: Buffalo Chicken Lollipops with Blue Cheese Fondue.  What a great recipe!  Possible Super Bowl party food?

Favorite V-Day Gift Ideas:  Martha Stewart gives you 55 gift ideas for Valentine’s Day.  I’m fond of this Seed-Started Valentine, a nice alternative to buying a bouquet.

Favorite Bread: Lemon Poppy Seed Bread.  I have been craving lemon poppy seed lately!  This looks simply delicious.

Favorite Slippers: I just bought these slippers from Victoria’s Secret…LOVE them!  They are adorable.  P.S.-they are on sale for $9.99 right now!!

Favorite Cake: Strawberry Layer Cake.  What a beautiful cake!  It seems like the perfect cake to remind me that spring is coming (sometime, right?).

Favorite Baking Gear: Wilton Mini Hearts Pans.  I’ve seen sooo many mini bundt pan desserts lately but have ignored them because I don’t have the proper pans.  I guess I better buy these. 🙂

Favorite Valentines Day Treat: Valentine’s Fortune Cookies.  Love, love, love these!

Favorite Wall Hanging: DIY Wooden Letters on Canvas.  All you need is love ♥

Favorite Meal: Homemade Hamburger Helper.  Hamburger Helper was one of the fancier meals I made for myself in college.  Classy, right?  I have to admit, I really liked the flavor.  This homemade version can be made in 20 (!) minutes.

Favorite Flowers: DIY Floral Design.  This mix of flowers and colors is fresh and pretty.

Favorite Chow: Cupcake Puppy Chow.  Oh how I love you, puppy chow.  You could totally stick to pink and red sprinkles to make this adorable chow for your loved ones this 2/14.

Favorite Funny: Did you watch the Golden Globes last Sunday!  I did!  Twice.  Back to back.  I don’t know why I just shared that, but I did.  My weirdness is out there now.  To be fair, I watched them and then when they were over Josh got home from a Nuggets game so I, being the nice wife that I am, watched them again (and loved every minute).  I told you it’s my favorite award show.  Here was one of my favorite moments of the evening…
