My blog this past week = crickets chirping. Sorry ’bout that. I haven’t made anything this week because we just got rid of our Thanksgiving leftovers last night. As tempted as I was to make Christmas cookies, I knew that all the Turkey fixings & pies needed to be gone first. Finally, the leftovers are all gone (I’m all turkied out). Let the Christmas dessert baking begin! Have a superb Friday & please enjoy my favorite things from around the web in this week’s Friday Favorites!

Favorite Muffins: Gingerbread Muffins. Time to bring out the molasses!!
Favorite Jar Gifts: Here are 12 ideas for homemade Christmas gifts in jars!
Favorite Bars: Skinnified Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars. Mmmmm…these look delish!
Favorite Present Pretties: Layers of felt circles create these pretty ornaments that would be a great way to jazz up the outside of the packages you’re wrapping.
Favorite Appetizer: Biscuit Artichoke & Spinach Dip Rolls. Easy and crowd pleasing. Plus the green spinach makes them festive. 🙂
Favorite Thrifty Decor: Use an old vase, apothecary jar, or hurricane (or find one at a craft shop or dollar store) and fill it with ornaments. A cheap way to decorate! The best part, use an empty toilet paper roll to fill the middle of the jar so you don’t have to use as many ornaments to fill it up!
Favorite Twinkies: Homemade Hostess Twinkies. With the possible extinction of Twinkies, it’s time to learn how to make them at home. I don’t think I’ve eaten a Twinkie for at least a decade, but the thought of them ceasing to exist made me want one real bad.
Favorite Mug: DIY Chalkboard Mugs. Love this idea! I’m going on the hunt for chalkboard paint this weekend. This would be a great gift for the coffee lover in your life.
Favorite Drink: Ginger Spice Latte. Because you need something tasty to fill that chalkboard mug.
Favorite Journal: Vintage Postcard Calendar Journal. This project popped out at me a year ago and I never made it. I saw it again this week on Pinterest and I think it’s time to make it! I think it’d be a great way to document the happenings in your life & it’s a nice reminder that everyday counts. 🙂
Favorite Small Bites: Skinny Baked Brie Phyllo Cups with Craisins and Walnuts. Festive bites! The combination of creamy brie, sweet Craisins, and crunchy walnuts sounds lovely!
Favorite Wreath: Yarn Ball Wreath. Yes! I’ve bought a TON of yarn lately to make yarn bottles, I think it’s time to put the bottles aside and make this fun wreath! I just need to buy some Styrofoam balls and a crafting I will go!
Favorite Cheesy Goodness: Mozzarella Sticks. I want all of these right now.
Favorite Candles: Gold Striped Candles. Another way to add a little glitz to our house. I’m thinking I’ll use red glitter paint on white candles to make them look like candy canes. Btw, I’m not much of a mint fan, so peppermint in craft form is about the only mint you’ll see on my blog. I hate to discriminate against food, but mint in food makes me think that I’m eating toothpaste. Weird? Probably.
Favorite Crust Guide: Isn’t it pie time you learn how to make fancy pie crusts? Martha Stewart thinks so.
Favorite Pants: 1969 Legging Cords. I ordered these cords on Cyber Monday and I CANNOT wait for them to show up! There are many different colors available and they are going fast. Gap has restocked some of the sizes, so I’ve been watching them like a hawk! If I like these brown ones, I might need to order another color(s)! 🙂
Favorite Cupcakes: Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Frosting. Simply amazing.
Favorite Funny Gift: Ninjabread Men Cookie Cutters. For the hardcore cookie lover in your life.
Happy last day of Movember!! Josh’s mustache has reached its final day (hooray)!
Happy Friday!
